We take immense pride in our wine list – it has been thoughtfully and lovingly prepared after many months of market research ….As with our food, we are proud to support fine local suppliers and there are none finer, nor more local than Hidden Springs in Horam and Rathfinney in Alfriston.
Our wine list is eclectic, showcasing interesting and unusual varieties from both the Old and New World but with a respectful nod to the classics. For your ease, we have grouped most of our wines by their style. We offer most of our wines by the glass and we are more than happy to let you try those before you buy.
Those with slightly bigger budgets, may be tempted by wines from the Owners Cellar. This is often subject to change, depending on how much he buys and consumes from time to time so do please ask for an updated version of “Paul’s List”…..
We support local breweries. We will always have cask ales from Long Man and Harveys available often with guest beers from Gun, Lakedown and Cellar Head. Our keg beers currently include Beaver Town Neck Oil, Long Man Helles Lager, Peroni, Estrella and Guinness. We have Thatchers Gold Cider on tap and a range of other bottled beers and ciders.
